1. Do you know what manga and anime are? Yes, at least I have a basic Idea of it.
2. When did you first realise what manga and anime are? It's hard to tell. I've been surrounded by it for years without realising. I think I truly started understanding what it was when I was about twelve.
3. When did you first become interested in manga and anime? Once again, at about twelve. That was when I first starting watching and reading it regularly.
4. How did you first come across manga and/or anime? It was all around me as I was growing up. On the TV, in shops. It mostly got to me through the internet.
5. What is your favourite manga? Hetalia
6. What is your favourite anime? Hetalia
7. What is your favourite base genre in manga and anime? Fantasy
8. On a scale from 1 to 10, how much of your attention to do you dedicate to manga and anime? About 7. It is fairly high.
9. How often to you come across things that relate to manga and anime? Only on the internet now, mainly when I'm searching for it.
10. Do you cosplay? No. No confidence to.
11. Do you draw manga? Would love to, but not really the best drawer.
12. Do you make animations? Hoping to. Want to get into a course for animation.
13. Do you write fanfiction? Yes. Almost everyday.
14. On a scale from 1 to 10, how much do you enjoy reading manga? About 4. I prefer Anime.
15. On a scale from 1 to 10, how much do you enjoy watching anime? About 8. I like most anime, but there are some that just aren't to my taste.
16. What was the first manga you read? Pokemon manga. The very first one with Red, Green and Blue.
17. What was the first anime you watched? If you mean, very first ever, Hetalia. I didn't even know it was Hetalia, it was just something on TV that I saw and it looked funny, so I watched it. I didn't even realise it until about ten years later when I was officially introduced to it by my friend and watched the episode again.
18. Who is your favourite character? It's a toss-up between Lithuania, Iceland and Norway.
19. What language do you prefer manga to be in? English, I can't read anything else.
20. What language do you prefer anime to be in? Japanese with English subtitles.
21. Would you describe yourself as an otaku? Yes, very much so.
22. How many hours do you use in a week on reading manga? Maybe two or three.
23. How many hours do you use in a week on watching anime? Probably about seven hours.
24. Do you prefer to read manga or watch anime? Watch anime.
25. Do you think manga and anime has become more interesting over the years? I've only been introduced to it in the last five years and have been on and off about it, so I can't really answer that.
26. On a scale from 1 to 10, how known do you think manga and anime are in our world? That's difficult to say. In Japan, it probably is very well known, but where I live in Australia, very few know about it.
27. How do you think manga and anime will become more known? More and more things are being converted to the internet. You only have to go onto the right site, see the right advertisement and have a little curiosity.
28. Do you think that manga and anime will become more known in the years to come? Probably. Like above, more things are being done on the internet. The more time spent on it, the higher chance one will find it.
29. Which genre do you think is the most popular? The ones who know about anime and manga where I live seem to prefer ones with a supernatural or fantasy genre.
30. Which manga do you think is the most popular? I don't many who read manga, so I can't answer that.
31. Which anime do you think is the most popular? I don't know many who read anime, so I can't answer that.
32. How often do you come across a person whom knows manga and anime? Where I live, very rarely.
33. How acceptable do you find the older generation of manga and anime? So long as it's well-done, I don't really care how old it is.
34. How easy do you find it, when trying to explain manga and anime to someone else whom does not know the principles of it? Rather difficult, not many people care to listen before making a judgement.
35. Do you think that manga and anime has had a good influence on you? In some ways, no. But in other ways, yes. I've found something in common with a group of people and have gotten some friends out of it.
36. Do you think that manga and anime in general is a good entertainment source? It depends on what it is about, as no two manga or anime is the same.
37. Do you think that manga and anime is something everyone should know about? No, some people don't care for things like this and there are some who just would rather not know.
38. Do you think that manga and anime will ever become a part of the average person's life? Probably not for everyone, but for others, it might be already a part of their lives.
39. How do you think manga and anime has influenced our world? It has created groups of people with the same interest and those groups can reach across countries.
40. Should it continue to influence our world, and do you think that it is a good thing? That's a difficult question. Some influences aren't good, but some are. You can't judge that sort of thing off one person. It may have made some more negative changes on me, but I know it has also made some good ones. It's tough to say.
